Simply Sewing

Sewing creates focus and alertness. Your brain can only process so much information at one time, when you immerse yourself in creating something through sewing, you lose focus on other negative things that might be weighing you down. 

Sewing not only is a great coping strategy for some people, but is helpful for the sufferer of mental issues.  Simply sewing projects can be a great way of preventing our mental health from getting out of balance in the first place. Most of the time we might not think about it consciously, but we certainly feel the effects of it. Sewing is a great experience and enjoyable time to discover.
